Chunky jewelry is an accessory that works well as a single piece of jewelry. If you plan to wear only one item of jewelry, a chunky necklace can sufficiently dress up an entire outfit.
Here are some ideas on how to wear chunky jewelry:
T-shirt and jeans: A chunky necklace can dress up a t-shirt and jeans to add color or personality or take the outfit from plain casual to dressy casual. Add a jacket and oversized handbag and you look ready for a lunch and shopping with the girls.
Sundress: Chunky necklaces with natural stones or shell or mixed media go well with sundresses. It can add a fun splash for romantic strolls down the beach.
Little black dress or red dress: Dressier chunky necklaces with gem stones or artsy shapes can look sharp with a little black dress or red dress.
When you wear chunky jewelry, keep the following tips in mind:
Don't wear a chunky necklace with other necklaces because it may clash or look gaudy. The large necklace style is meant to be worn alone. While unnecessary, other types of jewelry such as earrings, rings and bracelets may also be worn.
